£41000 - £45000 per annum + study support, agile working
Job description
Do you belong in a modern, progressive organisation that achieves commerciality at all levels? Can you see yourself working in an agile manner using state of the art technology? Are you a confident finance professional with a background in management accounts?

Based in Central London, the Finance Business Partner will engage with stakeholders across the £20m turnover organisation, providing budgeting and forecasting support to individuals from a non-finance background. Among many others, the main responsibilities will be to:
*Represent the Finance department around the organisation, being a visible and vocal point of contact
*Line manage four experienced Finance Assistants, overseeing their day to day work and monitoring KPIs, as well as supporting their ongoing career development
*Explore opportunities to improve processes on the finance system
*Oversee regular month end processes and ensure that financial reporting adheres to FRS102
*Provide insightful forecasting, budgeting and commentaries on the Management Accounts within agreed timescales
*Understand financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and use financial expertise to influence decision makers in difficult key financial matters.

In a progressive, modern, and growing organisation, this role will appeal to those who intend to move forward rapidly in their careers. Past postholders have used this role as a launchpad towards Head of Finance and other senior finance positions, and with an advanced and settled team to manage, this is an excellent opportunity to do the same.

All employees are given state of the art hybrid tablets equipped with software to allow agile working, and the support and development opportunities on offer from the Line Manager make this role particularly appealing to candidates who set high expectations on themselves. Despite its commerciality, the organisation operates with a relaxed feel, and an excellent study support package is also on offer.

To be considered, you will need to meet the following minimum criteria:
*Be a qualified/part qualified accountant with a solid understanding of FRS102
*Have strong management accounting experience and strong Excel skills (intermediate)
*Be a first-class communicator who is ambitious and driven, with the confidence to interact and challenge senior stakeholders.
