Robertson Bell Finance are working with a G15 Housing Association to recruit an Interim Group Management Accountant for a minimum period of 12 months with the potential for extension. Based in Central London, the role joins the organisation during a period of rapid change whilst they are embarking on a major improvement project.
Reporting into the Head of Finance, the main responsibilities of the Interim Group Management Accountant are as follows:
*Deliver consolidated monthly management accounts, collating accounts from a number of differing subsidiaries.
*Review annual budgets, analysing historical variances to prepare a quarterly efficiency report for the Board.
*Produce an annual report on value for money within the organisation, analysing unit costs in line with reporting guidelines.
*Implement new policies and procedures, driving tightened financial controls across the organisation.
The successful candidate must be a fully qualified accountant with preferable experience of working in another large housing association. Candidates without housing experience will still be considered, but you will need to have worked for a large and complex organisation previously. Finally, you will have a full understanding of accounting for subsidiaries and producing consolidated management and financial accounts.
