Robertson Bell Finance are working with a growing charity with a focus on care in the community to recruit an Interim Head of Finance. Covering a period of maternity leave, the role will last for a period of 5 months with the potential for extension following this. Based in South Wales this role plays a vital part in the running of a fantastic organisation.
Reporting into the CEO, the main responsibilities of the Interim Head of Finance are as follows:
- Manage a team of three in finance with some dotted line responsibility for others in the organisation.
- Have a strong focus on the production and presentation of the management accounts to the board.
- Develop the amount of higher-level analysis of the management accounts to provide increased insight into the performance of different areas of the organisation.
- Finalise the annual budgeting process, picking up from where the incumbent Head of Finance has got to.
The successful candidate will be fully qualified (or qualified by experience) and have strong experience of leading finance teams. Due to the current climate the role will be based remotely - at least to start with - and will therefore require a strong manager to cope with the remote management. My client will be particularly interested in speaking with any candidates who have experience of working in an organisation focussed on Care and Support.
