A market-leading INGO are looking for someone ambitious to join their Central London based team in a position with huge scope to add value from day one.
The International Project Accountant will report into the Finance Director and will lead the overseas finance teams, responsible for preparing forecasts and monthly management accounts whilst monitoring the performance of country teams against forecasts. Capacity building is a key element of this role which will develop international systems and processes and work with country teams to continuously improve the quality of financial information. The Project Accountant will also be responsible for producing donor reports and working on budgets to submit to donors to attract new funding.

This role would suit a fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) who is passionate about international development and keen to take on a role which involves capacity building travel and ownership of the international finance function. The ideal candidate will have experience working in either an international or not for profit organisation and will combine a strong technical accounting skill set with excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude and a constant desire to develop processes and add value. Some travel will be an essential part of this role, language skills are not essential but would be beneficial.
