The Senior Internal Auditor will be repsonsible for conducting meetings with senior stakeholders across the organisation, understanding and identifying organisational objectives in order to develop a comprehensive audit plan to assess vulnerability to risks. This role will be responsible for the full audit cycle which will include preparing and presenting findings and may even deliver reports to the Audit Committee.
This role would suit a fully qualified (CCAB / CMIIA) auditor with expereince with internal audit. Excellent interpersonal skills are vital as this role will have a great deal of exposure to senior stakeholders across the organisation and the Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for building relationships and credibility. A proactive approach would be the best fit for this team where development is actively encouraged and this role would be a good next step for someone moving in from audit practice with internal audit exposure.
