Project Officer

Robes Project – A helping hand out of homelessness 


The Robes Project is a dynamic, volunteer based charity, working hand in hand with churches across Southwark and Lambeth to offer a lifesaving provision of shelter, food and a safe space for those who find themselves homeless over the coldest winter months.  

Together, we fight the dehumanising aspects of homelessness, offering hospitality and friendship to our shelter guests. Through our advice work and additional projects, we offer holistic, personalised support towards achieving sustainable longer-term outcomes in terms of housing, as well as wider goals and aspirations.  


Scope of the job 

The Project Officer will be primarily responsible for the running and development of our weekly Wednesday Club which allows guests past and present to join us for lunch, advice and other activities.  Supporting the office with various central admin and the Shelter Co-ordinator in managing the shelter venues.
