Job description

Assistant Accountant
(Part Qualified)

Full time
Salary between £30,000 - £32,000 per annum

The role
Reporting to RADA’s Financial Controller, the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for finance related reporting and posting on Sage as well as audit and staffing reports and monthly reconciliations. You will also be in control of the payroll function at RADA, including maintaining accurate payroll records for staff, inputting all data for the monthly payroll processing and creating journals for posting on the finance system.

You will have knowledge of payroll and finance systems, preferably in an academic or charity setting and will be able to work to tight deadlines. If you are currently studying for an accountancy qualification and want to complete your training, this could be the role for you. We especially welcome applications from people who identify as black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds and those that identify as disabled as these groups are under-represented at all levels in the RADA staff.
