We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Manager to join our Commercial Events team at Kew. The team deliver multiple events across the calendar year including Christmas at Kew, Summer Cycle, Theatre on Kew, Kew the Movies, Richmond Runfest and Kew the Music.
Joining a busy team, you will be responsible for multiple workstreams and taking lead roles in the delivery of a number of the events within the Kew Calendar.

Your duties will range from the creation of event and project delivery plans, acting as the on-site lead during event builds, live phases and derigs, tracking progress against critical paths and project plans to coordinating and monitoring team members, contractors, and freelancers. You will play a significant role in the promotion of the department across the wider organisation and represent the team in internal meetings, project teams and similar.
You will have outstanding planning and communication skills, with a good general knowledge of health & safety in relation to public events and confidence articulating and applying this knowledge. Experience in writing and reviewing event risk assessments is also required.
You should have significant experience in an Event Manager role, ideally in an outdoor, heritage site environment.
