Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join the Digital Experience team and take the lead on Kew’s public-facing portfolio of digital products.

We’re working towards a user-centred, product-based culture at Kew, introducing agile ways of working and embedding a test-and-learn culture. As well as managing Kew’s digital product team, this individual will have a hands-on role directly delivering improvements to products and services within the wider portfolio.

More details

Kew is the world’s leading botanic gardens, at the forefront of plant and fungal science, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a major visitor attraction.

We want a world where plants and fungi are understood, valued and conserved – because our lives depend on them.

We use the power of our science and the rich diversity of our gardens and collections to provide knowledge, inspiration and understanding of why plants and fungi matter to everyone.

You’ll lead a team of product managers, working creatively to deliver results that balance user and business needs. You’ll have a background in delivering large and technically complex digital products and services, ideally in an organisation that, like Kew, must deliver against commercial and non-commercial objectives.

You’ll approach stakeholders and team members with curiosity and consideration, building shared goals that demonstrate the value of improved digital experiences to RBG Kew and get buy-in and cross-directorate support for our work.

We offer a fantastic range of benefits including a broad range of Learning and Development opportunities, with access to the Civil Service training curriculum, generous annual leave entitlement for new starters, family friendly policies, a choice of competitive pensions and flexible benefits scheme.
