Job description

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to play a pivotal role in the Director’s Office and who will provide front-line administrative support to our Director, Board of Trustees, committees and Executive Board.

Kew has ambitious plans, and it is an exciting time to join the small friendly team that supports the Director. The job is located at our beautiful Kew Gardens site in South West London, although currently staff are working flexibly. 

Our ideal candidate will be a motivated team-player who thrives on working at pace and to a varied set of tasks, including providing secretariat for the Executive Board, drafting high-quality content for the Director and managing the logistics of Kew’s board and committee meetings.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent interpersonal and writing skills, a good eye for detail, a flexible approach and excellent IT skills. You will also need to have an excellent track record in providing quality administrative support, be highly organised, flexible, have the confidence to work with senior stakeholders and act calmly under pressure.
