Chelsea, Greater London
Indicative Salary range £36,000 - £40,000 per year
Contract, Full-time
Job description

Our two hospitals form one of the most dynamic and successful heart and lung specialist hospital trusts in Europe, and enjoy the strong support of our Charity. We regularly produce a variety of video content – from DVDs about cardiology and lung surgery procedures for patients to watch at home, and information films for our website guiding patients through the transplant process, to recruitment films targeting overseas nurses. We are now taking most of our production in-house and need a talented and experienced video producer to launch and manage this new programme.

You will produce video content end to end, including concept development, scriptwriting and storyboarding, planning (including scheduling and budgeting, risk assessment and locations scouting), lighting, filming, editing, creating graphics, sound design, final delivery in spec appropriate for all platforms (incl. subtitling) and storage. You will also spend three days each month working with our Charity colleagues on their exciting projects and web content.

This is the ideal role for someone who has some experience of producing content in hospitals or other healthcare/medical settings, who has the confidence to work with, and advise, senior medical consultants, nurses and other health professionals, and who relishes the opportunity of really making a difference to patients.

This is a 12-month contract that we hope will become a permanent position at the end of the period.
