About the College

We are a professional membership organisation with charitable status, concerned with all matters relating to the science and practice of pathology. We have over 11,000 members worldwide. The majority of our members are doctors and scientists working in hospitals and universities in the UK. Although some pathologists work in laboratories, many work directly with patients in hospitals and the community. The College oversees the training and continuing professional development of pathologists and scientists working in 17 different specialties.

The Project Officer, Digital Learning Platform role is part of the Assessment Department within the Learning area of the College.   

About the person

With a background in e-learning, educational or IT projects, you will have experience of creating and maintaining project management documentation, producing reports and supporting boards and committees, including arranging meetings and preparing agendas and minutes.

You will be highly self-motivated with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people in a professional manner, both written and verbally, and will have excellent organisation and planning skills, especially with regard to creating and maintaining project documentation and supporting meeting arrangements. 

This is an exciting time to join the College to support a move to digital pathology in this brand new project.

As part of the interview and selection process, you will be required to give a maximum of 10-minute PowerPoint presentation, and the subject will be communicated to invited candidates.
