Accreditation Unit Manager
Full time fixed term ( maternity cover)
Salary, Grade 7 : £55,241 - £61,380 per annum

The RCP is looking for a talented, proactive manager to lead its Accreditation Unit. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to play a significant role supporting improvements in care for patients.
Ideally you will have knowledge and understanding of the health service and have an interest in the quality assurance framework for the health sector. However we would be happy to hear from candidates from different backgrounds with transferable skills. As a minimum, we are seeking candidates with:
- Proven ability to effectively lead the delivery of an operational unit with multiple workstreams ensuring that work is delivered within allocated resources
- Proven ability to provide day-to-day supervision and support for the accreditation unit managers, delegating tasks and assigning responsibilities appropriately to deliver the accreditation unit’s annual work plan
- Experience of costing, researching and developing business cases and business plans
- Experience of building and sustaining effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders including the confidence to communicate, influence and negotiate with a range of individuals.
