The Royal College of Psychiatrists is looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to join our vibrant and high achieving Professional Standards department. The Educational Standards Manager will manage all aspects of the psychiatry specialty curricula and quality assurance processes in psychiatric medical education and training including assessments. The successful applicant will have a good understanding of quality assurance in medical training as well as excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ideal candidates will have strong administrative and interpersonal skills as well as experience in committee management. Able to work on their own initiative to design and deliver high quality, innovative pilots to attract doctors to work in psychiatry as well as work well as a key part of a supportive and busy team. The ability to distil and explain complex information and produce written reports accurately and to a high standard is vital in this role. Experience of postgraduate medical education and training would be desirable.
