Job description
Role overview
The Royal Osteoporosis Society is the only UK-wide organisation dedicated to finding a cure for osteoporosis and improving the lives of everyone affected by it. We help the nation look after its bones and appreciate the importance of bone health for everybody. The ROS relies on donations to fund its work, and partnerships with for-profit companies can help with the charity’s vision of a future without osteoporosis.

The Partnerships and Philanthropy team is responsible for securing income, key relationships and/or value-in-kind to support the organisational plan and income generation strategy. To support our ambitious growth plans, we are seeking to grow and diversify income from new and existing corporate partners securing multi-year strategic partnership.

In this exciting role reporting to the Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy and based within the Development Directorate, you will oversee a portfolio of existing corporate partners, developing new business opportunities. The role will focus on both the business to business, and business to consumer sectors, and will seek to secure income alongside wider reach and influence through a range of forms including; sponsorship, project funding, staff fundraising, on-pack licencing, training, and charity of the year relationships.

We’re looking for someone who will implement the ROS’s Corporate Partnership strategy, maximising income from existing and new corporate partners and building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with some of the UK’s leading companies.

Our offices are based outside Bath, but we have a very flexible approach, and this post can be based remotely or on a hybrid basis, although we would expect a weekly visit to the office in normal circumstances.

To apply, applicants should provide a comprehensive CV, including details of relevant experience and achievements. This should be supplemented by a supporting statement in a cover letter, demonstrating how your skills and experience meet the person specification. We particularly welcome qualified applicants from ethnic minorities as they are under-represented in the team.

If you are looking to join a fantastic organisation and team where you can really make a difference, we’d love to hear from you. The closing date is midnight on 26 October 2021.
