We are looking for a Finance Officer to help us improve our finance processes and achieve efficiency.
You will be a team player with good working knowledge of income processing, credit control and balance sheet reconciliations. Working logically and methodically, you will have both an eye for detail and a proactive approach to working as part of a team.
You will have strong organisational skills, the ability to work flexibility within a busy team environment and be willing to support colleagues. With your strong interpersonal skills, you will have the confidence and ability to communicate effectively.
To be successful for this position, you will have basic knowledge of VAT, with an accounting qualification (Association of Accounting Technicians or equivalent) or studying towards one. Alongside this, you will have a good understanding of the basic principles of accounting.
What the role involves:
To accurately record in the financial accounts all income earned and received by the RSA group
To manage all aspects of the sales ledgers for the RSA group
Conduct proactive credit control in line with RSA procedures and KPIs
Contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the RSA
To work as part of a team responsible for providing financial and management accounting services
