We’re looking for a Junior AV Event and IT Support Technician to help us deliver great events for paying guests at the RSA House, and for our own staff.
We want someone who is keen to work with and support hybrid events and who can give the best experience for in-person and remote visitors. When you’re not doing events work, you would be helping the IT team with some light admin and supporting the RSA staff with IT Helpdesk requests.
Key skills and attributes we’re looking for are:
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
• Strong ability to prioritise
• Some previous exposure to audio and video mixing, audio and video distribution systems, lighting and stage setup
• Proficiency at wireless and wired microphone management
• Knowledge of how to use projectors and LED screens
• Ideally some experience working with AV, perhaps in an events, charity or think tank environment
