The Partnerships & Philanthropy team at the RSPCA is seeking a Planning and Capability Manager to keep our fundraising projects and priorities in order, as well as manage our processes and systems, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
This role really is central to the success of the team, maintaining links across the organisation, to make sure we have all the information we need on key funding priorities; from case for support development, through proposal writing and on to project reporting, after delivery. You will quickly become the font of all knowledge and the person who knows who to speak to about pretty much everything.
The post holder will also take responsibility for driving the continuous improvement of our tools and processes, including our SRM database, to enable greater capability and maximum efficiency.
The role will be hybrid working from our South East Regional Hub - (Southwater West Sussex) or our London Hub in Blackfriars with a high focus on remote working. Trips to our hub will be for core collaboration.
(This role covers a 2 year internal secondment.)

- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously.
- A strong understanding of database management - ideally Salesforce SRM, but training will be provided.
- Good knowledge of core Partnerships and Philanthropy operational processes.
- A keen eye for continuous improvement, in order to enable fundraisers to use the systems and tools more efficiently.
