Job description

SAFE! Support for Young People Affected by Crime is an Oxford based charity that provides support to children and families affected by crime and abuse.  We are looking to recruit a full-time Referral Liaison Administrator to work across both our Young Victim and Building Respectful Families services.

Working within the administration team, you will support the Service Managers in acting as a first point of contact for referrers and parents/guardians and service users. You will have an excellent telephone manner and experience of communicating with a wide range of people as well as general administration. A strong team player, you will have good knowledge of maintaining databases along with an ability to work independently. Your main role includes:

  • Responding to young people and families referred into SAFE! for support, conducting
    telephone assessments and providing further information about support.
  • Liaising closely with referrers gathering additional information as part of the organisation’s initial assessment process
  • To support and liaise closely with Senior Practitioners in the management of unallocated
    cases and waiting lists.
  • To support admin in the upkeep of the client database, ensuring that data is inputted in a
    timely manner.

This role is initially funded for a fixed term until the end of March 2022.  Extension to the initial contract may be considered subject to funding.
