We are looking for a highly motivated Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) to join our team.  The role is to provide independent practical and emotional support to victim-survivors. As an advocate, the ISVA will offer proactive initial advice and be an information source to those who have reported, are thinking of, or choose not to report.

They will work alongside our friendly and supportive ISVA team within an award-winning ISVA department and will be an integral member of the wider Safeline team.  They will be accountable for assessing the needs of victims of sexual abuse and their families, developing, and implementing individual client support plans and providing on-going face to face and telephone support to clients and their supporters.  For those clients who choose to report a crime, the ISVA will support them through the criminal justice process before-during and after. They will be accountable for building and maintaining positive and highly effective working relationships with key partner agencies including the Police and CPS, SARC, Witness Care and other voluntary sector organisations.
