Independent Domestic Violence Advisor – DYN Project (Males)
Based:. Cardiff main office, when meeting clients other travel is expected.
Salary Scale: £23,624.54- £24,324.03 -£25,076.32 pro rata. Hours per week: 21.75hours per week (3 days) (possibility of increasing to 5 days per week) Contract Length: Fixed term basis to 31st March 2023. Maybe extended subject to funding. Offer is subject to satisfactory references and enhanced DBS.

Safer Wales is an independent charity whose mission is to support, protect and empower groups of people that are often invisible in society.
Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers has helped protect tens of thousands of people of all ages, genders and backgrounds, including victims of domestic violence, sex workers, hate crime victims and ex-offenders.
Our Dyn project provides support to Heterosexual, Gay, Bisexual and Trans men who are experiencing domestic abuse from a partner.
We are now recruiting for an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor to work within our Dyn project. The successful candidate will provide specialist gender specific support and advocacy to men who have experienced domestic abuse or sexual violence. This will include offering support and expertise, and to link in, where appropriate, with existing services and wider support networks for men.
