Resettlement Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDSVA) 

Safer Wales has an exciting opportunity for a IDSVA and are looking to recruit a proactive person who wants to make a positive difference to the lives of women in prison.  As part of the Safer Wales Resettlement service, the Resettlement IDSVA will be expected to participate in all aspects of work in partnership with local CRCs to support the co-ordination of gender-informed resettlement services to women based within HMP Eastwood Park and women returning to Wales based within HMP Styal with particular responsibility to provide support and advocacy to service users who have experienced or at risk of domestic abuse and/or sexual violence.

You will be working with the team, providing support to women and aiding their transition back into the community.

Hours: 36.25 hours per week.  Part time/job share or flexible hours will be considered.

Salary: £22567.43 - £23265.45 - £23985.00 per annum pro rata on a fixed term basis to 1st September 2020, may be extended subject to funding.
