Job description

Saferworld is an independent international organisation working to prevent violent conflict and build safer lives.

Saferworld has worked in South/South East Asia since 2007 and Central Asia since 2010. Over the years, we have supported programmes in across the region. Together with civil society partners, we conduct research and analysis, strengthen the capacity of communities (including women, youth, and minority and marginalised ethnic, religious, and gender groups), civil society, and authorities (state and non-state) and facilitate space from them to address the drivers of insecurity, conflict, and violence and to advocate for more people-centred security provision in order to build sustainable peace.

We are looking for someone to oversee the effective grant management of Saferworld’s Asia programme.  S/he will be responsible for ensuring systems, processes and workflows are in place, and work with Saferworld teams and partners to ensure contractual compliance, delivery of high quality and timely donor reporting, strategic programme planning at inception and close-out phases, robust and collaborative grant monitoring, constructive relationships with donors, and support to wider process of programme development.
