Job description

The post of Executive Director is a new role for our charity. As a member of the executive team the Executive Director will have responsibility for the operations of our charity, its performance and probity.

We seek an experienced leader to support our CEO with the strategic and operational leadership of our charity in ways that are consistent with our Christian beliefs, ethos and culture.

Saltmine Trust is a Creative Arts Charity inspired by the life and teaching of Jesus.  Our faith motivates all our work, from telling inspiring stories past and present, to tackling current cultural issues.  We always aim for excellence, releasing, empowering and equipping people through the creative arts. 

Our mission is to be a centre of excellence; releasing, empowering and equipping people through the creative arts. We deliver high quality creative performances and interactive workshops, aiming to impact lives and transform society. 

A significant part of our work comes under our Theatre In Education programme for Primary and Secondary Schools. We are passionate about helping to educate our young people on today's challenging social challenges, such as knife crime, domestic abuse and internet safety.
