Job description

We are currently looking for a full time Payables and Reconciliations Accountant with a professional attitude, to work in our busy International Business Administration Department, based at our International Headquarters. 

You will work with other Account personnel in dealing with aspects of the Payables accounting function, primarily working in our newly launched NetSuite accounting system. You will also deal with several Balance Sheet reconciliations.

Applicants must have experience of working in purchase ledger. A Level or equivalent education is essential, and applicants should ideally be studying towards an Accounting qualification.

Applicants should also be IT literate with experience of Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Experience of Accounting systems is also essential.

Applicants will be able to work in an organised and focussed way and to tight deadlines.

You will be in sympathy with the aims and objectives of The Salvation Army.
