Samaritans has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our Community and Events Team as an Events Fundraiser. This is a full time, one-year maternity cover.
You will manage Samaritans’ participation in a variety of third-party sports and challenge events, including Ride London, and will to help grow our participation in treks and other challenges. You will be managing all aspects of your events the from the marketing and recruitment of participants to stewarding them through their events journey and beyond, including on the day support at selected events.
You will be an extremely organised person that works well individually and as part of a team. You will be able to demonstrate high attention to detail, whilst managing changing priorities in a fast-paced role.
You’ll have some previous experience of working in a similar role and be warm, engaging and able to build strong relationships with your event stakeholders.
