We are looking for a talented Communications Specialist to join our NSPA team to help support and grow our membership group.

The National Suicide Prevention Alliance (NSPA) is a coalition of public, private and voluntary organisations in England whose mission is to get all parts of society working together to take action to reduce suicide and improve the support for those bereaved by suicide. With over 140 members and supporters, the NSPA plays a critical role in supporting the delivery of the national Cross-Government Strategy Preventing Suicide in England. It has a small Secretariat which is hosted by Samaritans and based in its office in Ewell, Surrey.
This is an exciting time to be joining the NSPA, with a new strategy in place and a growing and active membership. The Membership and Communications Officer is crucial to helping the NSPA achieve its goals. The post will lead on the development of its communications, including its website, as well as being the first point of contact for members and ensuring excellent communications for and with members. It has responsibility for leading membership development, ensuring that the NSPA attracts new members and finds new and innovative ways for them to work together.
We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, who enjoys a busy and varied role and has the ability to juggle competing priorities. Good interpersonal skills will be important, as well as a track record in developing and delivering effective communications, preferably in a membership environment.
