SANE is a leading UK mental health charity. Our vision is of a time when no individual or family has to face the distress or isolation that results from coping with mental illness alone.
SANE is looking for a Head of Services. You will lead a clinically skilled team who train and develop hundreds of volunteers each year, giving them the skills, knowledge and support they need to make compassionate human connections with our callers, who are often in acute emotional distress.
As SANE is expanding our services to modernise and take them into the digital age, you will be joining the senior management team at an exciting time. We have completed a three-year transformation plan and have a strategy for expansion. Calls to our helpline, SANEline, are increasing exponentially, and in order to meet the demand for all our services, we are increasing the number of our volunteers and looking for ways for more people to access our services in the ways they want.
This is an exciting opportunity for a person with knowledge of mental health and with experience of delivering change in a challenging environment. Management of volunteers and health professional staff will be desirable.
If you would like to be part of a values led organisation, leading the services that provide over 12,000 hours of one to one emotional support a year, why not download our application pack for more information about the role and details of how to apply?
