Job description

Are you an inspiring communicator? Do you want to use your skills to influence change and make a difference to people living with cancer? Come and play a key role in delivering Sarcoma UK’s PR and Communication work. Influence change, build key PR and media skills for this rare lesser known cancer. 

We are an ambitious growing charity, building on our achievements and working to transform the lives of people with sarcoma. We are also investing in our future. This is an exciting time to be joining Sarcoma UK as we continue to grow as an organisation. Join us to raise awareness, fund research and save lives. 

We’re looking for a PR and Communications Officer to be the first point of contact, lead communications projects across the charity, coordinate our case studies work and speak directly to people affected by sarcoma, helping them to share their stories. 

Job Despcription

Salary: £29,000 p.a.  

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Location: Office and Home working - Old Street, London N1 (The proportion worked at home will depend  on coronavirus restrictions in place, but it is expected that at least 2 days per week will permanently be based at home).

Reports to: Digital and Communications Manager

Benefits: Up to 5% matched contribution to Sarcoma UK pension scheme; interest-free season ticket and bicycle loan. 25 day’s holiday entitlement per annum plus bank holidays and the working days between Christmas and New Year.
