Job Description

Do you want to play a key role in an organisation which stands up for children? Then join us as an Audience Insight Manager in order to influence and deliver high quality actionable audience insights and research across the organisation. This role is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to bring their market research expertise into an international NGO.

In our Marketing, Fundraising and Communications department, we fight for children every single day. We inspire millions of people, from individuals to large corporates, to support our quest for change. We go the extra mile - and we don’t rest until the work is done.

As Audience Insight Manager you will be responsible for researching and embedding audience understanding and ensuring it is used in day to day business decisions. You will also be responsible for ensuring that this research is placed in the wider context of current audience strategy. In addition, you will:

  • Lead and undertake primary and secondary quantitative and qualitative research insight projects
  • Be responsible for ensuring benefits of insight projects are maximised by ensuring senior stakeholders have a good understanding of the research
  • Be responsible for management of regular tracking research Responsible for management of regular tracking research (e.g. supporter satisfaction)
  • Lead on questionnaire design, managing timings and turning the research results into actionable insight.

To be successful, you will have relevant market research experience, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas and issues effectively to different audiences within the organisation. You will have excellent organisation and project management skills, alongside the ability to manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders. In addition, you will have:

  • Significant experience in analysing quantitative and qualitative audience insights and in understanding and building key implications at the back of it
  • Significant experience agency or client side in delivering audience insights to senior stakeholders
  • Experience in quantitative tools and in using data analysis tools and databases (e.g. brand tracker, TGI, You Gov)
  • Flexibility and pro-activity in the context of delivering research insight in a pressured environment
  • A high degree of market awareness.
