Do you want to play a key role in an organisation which stands up for children? Then join us as a Nurse in our Emergency Health Unit, managing the daily nursing activities in our emergency health reponses. This could involve either support to emergency primary health care, acute watery diarrhea or mass vaccination.

We increase our capacity to meet the assistance and protection needs of children and their families affected by crises. We go the extra mile - and we don’t rest until the work is done.
As EHU Nurse, you will be regularly deployed to humanitarian emergencies and as such expected to support the set up and daily operations related to emergency health programmes. In addition you will work with the clinical lead to develop nursing standard operation procedures for the programme, supporting emergency preparedness activities in the East and Southern Africa region and on deployment take responsibility for nursing activities with the response. To be successful you will be registered Nurse, qualified from recognised centre with experience in primary health care, general practice and media nursing. As well as strong communication skills, with excellent written and spoken English you will also have experience working in insecure environments. In addition you will have:
