Job Description

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an Intern to join our Transformation Delivery team on a 12 months fixed term contract. Based in Central London, this is a fantastic learning opportunity for a talented and motivated individual who is passionate about helping to create lasting change in the lives of children, and who wants to further develop an understanding of enhancing efficiencies and effectiveness within an international organisation. Such as improving and implementing significant new global IT, HR, procurement, inventory and resource management.

In this role, you will provide support to the Transformation Delivery Coordinator and the HPO Management Accountant with critical administrative support. This will involve working with team members on administrative assistance and finance-related support. Including being a point of contact and providing guidance to the team on expenses and invoice queries, organising finance meetings and ensuring smooth running of project finance delivery.

To be considered for this internship, you should be either Degree qualified (preferably in Accounting, Business Studies, or similar) OR have office working experience. Having strong administrative and numeracy skills along with a domain of Microsoft Office will help you to succeed in this role.

On a personal level, you will have a desire to gain experience working for a global humanitarian organisation as well as strong interpersonal skills, a proactive and collaborative approach to work and a high level of cultural awareness.

The role offers an annual salary of £18,546 p.a., a competitive company pension scheme and 30 days' annual leave pro-rata.
