At Scope our mission is to drive social change so that disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. We want to achieve everyday equality and support disabled people to get the best start in life, live the life they choose and be financially secure.
About the role
Working alongside the Shop Manager you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that your efforts are making this country a place where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else.
About the role
Scope charity shops are open every day, so you must be prepared to work weekends and Bank Holidays as required. Weekly hours for part-time vacancies are on a seven-day rota.
This is a varied and creative role where you’ll encourage donations, sort and present stock to maximise sales, meet shop targets and provide a high level of customer service.
In the Shop Manager’s absence you'll be responsible for running the shop, so you must have the confidence and skills to lead the team of volunteers and have experience dealing with customers.
Equality and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do. We want to seize every opportunity to build a truly diverse and inclusive workplace.
We are always looking for applications from disabled people. If you are disabled and you have the skills and, or the experience to do the job, we really want to interview you. Just let us know in your application that you are applying under the Guaranteed Interview Scheme.
