About the role

This is an opportunity to join the Activities for All team in Leeds who deliver an advice and guidance service to families of disabled children ensuring they have the information needed to make an informed choice with regards to services they wish to access.  You will also provide support to activity providers and settings helping them to be more inclusive with their service and supporting them to work towards Scopes Inclusion Quality Mark.

About you

We are looking to recruit an experienced professional with a background in working with children with complex needs and supporting parents of disabled children. You will have a proven track record in supporting the development of inclusive practice for children and ideally have experience of working towards the inclusion of all children in play, leisure and childcare settings.  You will have demonstrable or lived experience of disability and you should also be able to demonstrate knowledge of the Early Help (Common Assessment Framework).

This role involves travel across Leeds and surrounding areas therefore a car driver is preferred. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required.
