35 hours per week on a rota to cover service opening hours

About the role
Be a disability gamechanger and join us as an Employment Advisor on our national employment service Support to Work, which provides employment advice and guidance to disabled people across England and Wales. Your key responsibilities will be to manage a caseload of customers providing digital employment support to those customers who are looking for work, over the telephone and via our online portal. Creating them an online action plan to improve their employability skills and ultimately find paid employment within their 12 weeks on the service.
We are looking to recruit experienced advisers with demonstrable employability knowledge within the field of disability.
You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and be able to demonstrate experience in a customer facing role including experience of supporting customers remotely online and by telephone.
Showing that you have a flexible approach and can respond positively to change and have the ability to work well under pressure and deal effectively with conflicting priorities will allow to succeed within this role.
It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of IT including Microsoft Office Products and are confident user of digital technology demonstrating a positive approach to the adoption of innovative products and tools, a knowledge and experience of Microsoft dynamics would be desirable.
You will bring drive and enthusiasm to your role and can demonstrate that you care passionately about improving disabled people's lives through employment. With excellent negotiation skills, you will be able to positively influence at all levels. You will be dynamic, and results driven with demonstrable evidence of performance across a range of outcomes.
As this service will have extended opening hours a degree of flexibility is required to support your team within our operating hours. You will be required to work 35 hours on a rota basis.
