Head of Store Support and Operations


£65,000 a year (plus company car or car allowance)

35 hours per week

The Head of Store Support and Operations is a pivotal new strategic Retail leadership role. It is accountable for delivering excellence and customer satisfaction across our c. 200 stores. As well as having accountability for the entire supply chain operation.

The Role

The role is accountable for designing and delivering innovative, courageous, and pioneering strategic work across Scope and our retail and community teams, driving transformational change that champions our 550 store colleagues, c.4000 volunteers, and our customers.

The role will develop and embed a communications and engagement strategy to connect hearts and minds. As well as oversee the strategic transformation of our supply chain and routes to market. A radical review of how we operate our logistic services is paramount to the success of our growth plans and simplification initiatives.

The role will work in close partnership with the Head of Retail and Head of Customer Proposition. As well as work across Scope to ensure our customers and colleagues are at the front of all decisions.

About You

You have done this sort of role before and can prove in your application that you meet all the essential criteria – this is really important.

You are not afraid to take responsibility for designing and delivering strategy that cuts across all areas of our charity, store teams and ecommerce.

You know how to build, secure, and spend the budgets to deliver our retail strategic plans.

You have lived experience of disability, understand the social model of disability and relentlessly champion accessibility and inclusion. OR you are prepared to put the time and effort into learning from and listening to others who can help you get your head around the issues.
