We are looking for a talented Media and PR Officer to join our dynamic press office, to help us deliver our exciting strategy and brand awareness campaigns.
We’re looking for someone ambitious who wants to use their media and public relations skills to help drive social change and join us to campaign relentlessly to create a fairer society.
The role is varied and challenging, but also a great opportunity to develop your skills and abilities.
You’ll be heavily involved with our work to improve employment opportunities and challenge attitudes towards disability and disabled people, and to drive down the extra costs disabled people face.
The role will be home based temporarily and on reduced hours (28) instead of 35 hours per week. We are flexible on how these are worked in light of the situation with Covid-19.
We are looking for someone who has:
- worked in a press office environment and helped to deliver successful social change campaigns
- demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills and is able to communicate with stakeholders in a clear, meaningful and effective way
- the ability to be flexible, respond positively to change, work effectively under pressure and deal with conflicting priorities
- excellent organisation and planning skills
