About this job

As New Partnerships Manager, you'll:

• develop a prospect pipeline to raise a personal income target which contributes to an overall team target
• support the Senior New Partnerships Manager in the identification and cultivation of new corporate partnerships, accessing a range of income streams and budget holders
• support senior team members in attending meetings with potential corporate partners, including preparing relevant briefs in advance
• prepare relevant and creative applications and proposals for pitches for potential corporate partners
• work closely with the Corporate Partnerships Team to ensure the transition between new business and account management is seamless for both Dogs Trust and the new partner

About you

To be successful in this role you'll have demonstrable experience of new business development, ideally in a charity setting, with a track record of securing six-figure partnerships.

You'll be organised, articulate and credible, with a real appreciation of different budget holders within companies who may be interested in supporting Dogs Trust, and an understanding of different types of corporate partnerships.

In addition, you'll have demonstrable experience of senior stakeholder management and negotiation skills, and you'll have the ability to write clearly and concisely, and to tailor written style to the needs of different audiences.

About the team

The team build multi-year partnerships with businesses consisting of multiple fundraising mechanisms including, but not limited to, corporate donations, cause related marketing, employee engagement and volunteering, charity of the year, and sponsorship.

About the role

This is an exciting time to join Emmaus UK and provide maternity cover for our Governance Manager.

This standalone role is responsible for managing the operations of the board and committees of Emmaus UK, as well as for providing support to local boards at Emmaus communities across Great Britain as they look to develop their governance arrangements.

The postholder will manage the board of trustees, leading on recruitment, induction and compliance, ensuring meetings run smoothly and are minuted effectively. They will also work as company secretary, managing the smooth-running of the AGM, and ensuring returns are made to Companies House and the Charity Commission within appropriate timeframes.

The Governance Manager is responsible for monitoring the development of policies, tracking completion and working with managers to continuously improve policies in line with changing regulation.

The role will also involve extensive work with members of the Emmaus movement, through the performance of reviews of local governance of members, reporting back to local boards on areas to celebrate and actions to develop. They will also be responsible for developing Emmaus UK’s best practice toolkit for trustees to refer to in developing their local governance arrangements, and for liaising with the wider Emmaus movement through facilitation of the membership processes with Emmaus Europe and Emmaus International.

Emmaus UK Governance

• Manage the board of trustees, leading on recruitment, delivering a comprehensive and appropriate induction, dealing with enquiries, maintaining declarations of interest, skills audit and eligibility forms and ensuring all details are up to date and accurate.
• Act as company secretary for Emmaus UK, leading on the preparation for and delivery of the Annual General Meeting, filing required returns, developing documents associated with membership, and ensuring the charity is compliant with relevant charity and company law.

​Board and Committee Meetings

• Coordinate board meetings including organising venues, liaison with the relevant secretary and chairs in creating agendas, preparing and distributing papers and taking and circulating accurate minutes
• Oversee the smooth-running of committee meetings in conjunction with the admin team, including creation of the annual calendar.
• Ensure all follow up actions are coordinated, and ongoing rolling actions logs are maintained and appropriately shared with the Emmaus UK staff team.

Emmaus UK Governance Development

• Lead on governance projects within Emmaus UK, including but not limited to risk, policy management and internal governance reviews, reporting to the Board and subcommittees as appropriate.
• Provide governance advice and support to staff members on an ad hoc basis.
• Monitor all internal policies and procedures ensuring they are fit for purpose and kept under review by the relevant staff members.

​Federation Governance

• Lead on reviews of members’ local governance arrangements, scheduling, undertaking analysis, reviewing documentation, collating responses from members and observations from Emmaus UK Senior Leadership Team members, and reporting to local boards on findings and Emmaus UK’s Audit & Risk Committee on emerging themes.
• Provide guidance for federation members on governance development through ad hoc advice, the production of governance toolkits and supporting resources.
• Facilitate the membership processes and requirements for Emmaus Europe and Emmaus International, supporting transitioning members and contributing to movement-wide events such as the World and Regional Assemblies, international visits and exchange programmes.

Provide administrative and coordination support to the Family Wellbeing Service that support families across Surrey with wellbeing and mental health literacy as well as specific EBSNA and ND support. Work proactively, use their own initiative and work unsupported to achieve tasks. The administrator will provide administrative support to a service that is currently in development, with plans to grow over 4 years, with 8 practitioners as well as liaise with partner agencies and stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of this service

Responsibilities

• Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Office suite, mail chimp, poll daddy and Survey Monkey
• Answering telephone and email queries from partner organisations, external agencies and parents/carers
• Contacting families via the telephone and email, that are referred to Eikon Family Wellbeing Service
• Production and creation of letters, correspondence, leaflets, newsletters and supporting the production of website content
• General administration work including filing, archiving, retrieving information and documents
• Provide, record and report the appropriate data to ensure support programmes can be accurately monitored and evaluated
• Set up and maintain excel spreadsheet that tracks and monitors status of all cases referred to the service
• Support the Service Delivery Manager in the maintenance and monitoring of the service tracker
• Create and maintain processes for receiving service feedback and monitoring and reporting service impact data
• Be responsible for entering Direct Referrals and Mindworks referrals on to organisation database along with any corresponding case allocation administration
• On-boarding of new referrals ensuring are contacted within the agreed contract guidelines.  Once initial calls are completed, to ensure these are moved to the correct service pathway
• Monitor the return of consent and registration forms
• Carry out administrative tasks associated with follow-up on all missed sessions, cancellations, queries and case closures
• Create, maintain and monitor a booking system for individual, group and online sessions and all corresponding tasks e.g. room booking, calendar updates and sending meeting links/information to recipients
• Create and support the monitoring of wait lists for the various services and subsequent case allocation to practitioners
• Carry out ‘check in’ communications with families on our waiting list and escalate any new concerns to appropriate staff
• Record all communications with families and professionals related to specific cases on Evide
• Create, maintain and monitor attendance lists for any groups
• Ensure all data and information is uploaded onto all relevant databases

The postholder will provide advice, guidance and coaching to parents and carers of children aged 8-18 years to help them to develop new awareness and skills to enhance their support to their children through a combination of group-work and one-to-one sessions.

As part of the Surrey Wellbeing Partnership, The Eikon Charity provides a wide range of emotional wellbeing and mental health services for children & young people. Through this work we have seen how challenging parents and carers can find supporting their children’s emotional wellbeing difficulties, particularly where they have Neurodivergent needs.

Supported by new funding streams, we are delighted to be recruiting to this new role of Family Wellbeing Practitioner with Neurodevelopmental Specialism, to be a key practitioner within our Family Wellbeing Service. As a practitioner, you will hold a caseload, working as part of a team to undertake assessments and deliver a range of evidence-based interventions, including EBSNA support, with a focus on support for families with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• To assess the needs and strengths of the parents/carers referred into the service and help them identify and implement strategies that will support them, help them identify individual goals to achieve desired change
•  Deliver bespoke programmes of support, to parents/carers of children and young people diagnosed with or being assessed for neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autistic Spectrum Condition and/or ADHD. This could take the form of time limited 1:1 or group sessions or a blended approach depending on the needs presenting themselves
• To support the creation and development of and deliver workshops and presentations for small parent/carer groups covering a range of emotional wellbeing and mental health topics relevant to children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions
• Record and review parent/carer goals using the Goal-Based Outcomes tool and use this to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
• To involve parents/carers in the co-design of group work and ensure that the service responds to user voice and meets the needs identified
• To take responsibility for own caseload of parents/carers, some with complex and multiple needs
• To keep accurate records of individual engagement, evidence of change and celebrate progress with parents/carers to ensure support programmes can be accurately monitored and evaluated
• To provide written case studies as evidence of the effectiveness of individual interventions 
• To identify a range of specialist services and agencies who can offer further support for parents and families
• To work collaboratively with other Eikon delivery teams in delivering interventions for children, young people and families
• To promote the service within The Eikon Charity and with statutory and voluntary sector partners across the region – this might include presentations at networking events and production of promotional material
• To assist with the development and progression of the Family Wellbeing Service by adhering to all communication requests and assisting with peer progression development when requested through case supervision

Reporting to the Management Accountant, the Payroll Manager will play a crucial role in supporting our employees through the timely and accurate processing of all associated payrolls and dealing with employee queries on an ad hoc basis. The Development and Partnerships Coordinator will coordinate Trees for Cities’ partnerships and community tree planting initiatives in towns and cities across the UK, enhancing local environments and community wellbeing.

Collaborating with local authorities and third-sector partners, the post holder will coordinate the UK wide Trees in Neighbourhoods programme; managing local authority and partner relationships, allocating funding, managing budgets, monitoring and reporting.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. Participants are encouraged to be both consumers and producers of learning through script-work, role-play and creative media such as films and art. You will secure income from your own portfolio of funders and partners, and lead and inspire the team to achieve their own ambitious targets, both through new sources and through excellent stewardship of existing funders.

Role purpose

The main purposes of this role are:

• Researching, identifying and applying for grant funding and commissioning from statutory sources, trusts and foundations (T&F)
• Developing and writing high quality fundraising bids which align with the objectives and needs of statutory funders, T&F and Tender’s strategic objectives
• Managing and maintaining partnerships and relationships with a range of stakeholders (statutory funders, T&F, delivery partners, professionals in the sector, internal stakeholders)
• Developing the Statutory and T&F strategy in collaboration with the Development Director

Main responsibilities and duties

New business development

• Developing and implementing a strategy to develop relationships with, and maximise income from, statutory sources, T&F
• Working with service managers, designing, developing and submitting high-quality funding proposals to statutory sources, T&F which are technically sound, meet donor requirements and align with Tender’s strategic objectives
• Maintaining an up-to-date market awareness of grant-making trends and best practice in T&F fundraising
• Developing the overall statutory and T & F strategy with oversight from the Development Director
• Monitoring and reporting against business development plans to ensure objectives are achieved, and proposing plans for remedial action if projections are not on track

Relationships

• Managing relationships with Statutory sources and T&F funding Tender, building a deep understanding of the needs and requirements of each funder
• Developing and executing stewardship and relationship management plans for T&F to maximise the value and duration of their support for Tender
• Overseeing the production of high-quality monitoring reports for T&F, and using insights from funded programmes to develop case for support materials
• Working with other Tender managers to ensure the consistent tone and positioning of Tender in the implementation of marketing of all projects
• Line managing two Development Officers

Administration

• Working with the Governance team to improve operational effectiveness and quality service by identifying and implementing process improvements
• Contributing to the maintenance of Tender’s overall Development function, providing appropriate analysis and reports
• Developing and maintaining a funding database and ensuring it is up to date to effectively monitor and evaluate the strategy
• Completing all mandatory training, and proactively seek opportunities for ongoing professional development
• Ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed, including safeguarding, data protection and equal opportunities
• Working as a member of the Tender team and carrying out other duties that may be required to meet the needs of the organisation

Assessment of Fitness to Drive is a dynamic and evolving field so demands committment to professional excellence , a proven record of professional development as well as an ambition to develop your career within a specialist third section organisation.

You will be an experienced and highly motivated clinician registered with the Health & Care Professions Council or similar health regulatory body and hold a full UK driving Licence. 

You will have an ability to communicate effectively with service users , health professionals and major stakeholders including DVLA,Motability and the police, as well as having a passion for developing services in line with service users and stakeholder needs.

You will be able to apply your clinical expertise to assess practical function during on-road assessment whilst accompanied by an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), and ideally will have experience of working with a range of neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. 

Based at the North Wales centre, you will be supported by an experienced team and will receive induction and ongoing training to develop the skills for this specialist role. You will also be supported to achieve mandatory qualifications in Driving and Outdoor Mobility, all of which will be fully funded.

This is a permanent position for part time working of working 2 days (15 hours) a week. A fluency in the Welsh language is highly desirable.

Variety, the Children's Charity is excited to recruit for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to join the fundraising team as we launch a new multi-year partnership in January 2026. This role is a new position to support our ambitious growth to deliver award winning partnerships and raise money from corporate partners across the Northeast region. This key role on our team will ensure our work to fund life-changing practical support to disabled and disadvantaged children and young people continues across the UK.

You will be joining the charity at an exciting time as we are launching a three-year strategy to drive growth with lots of new fundraising plans in place alongside a great team and a new Director of Fundraising. You will have a large partnership in the property sector to manage, and with your experience you will develop new partners in the Northeast of England, ensuring we maximise leads and introductions. You will play an important role in our collaborative and high-performing team to deliver the partnership strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Lead account management of a large national corporate partnership, delivering a six-figure fundraising target and giving first class stewardship to ensure engagement with all staff across multiple sites in the UK

● Develop engaging marketing and communications for the partnership and develop new business materials for their suppliers and customers, to get them involved in the partnership

● Travel across regional offices for fundraising and volunteering, engaging staff and working with our beneficiary schools on engagement events

● Write and deliver quarterly impact reporting, making presentations at head office with partnership updates

● Track income and expenditure for the partnership

● Develop new business by introductions from the partnership and also work across the Northwest to develop new leads for the corporate fundraising pipeline

● Plan volunteering days for corporate partners, coordinating with our school’s network, sending briefs and attending some events to ensure smooth coordination

● Attending regular partnership meetings and keeping all account plans up to date utilising our CRM system Salesforce

● Attend Variety fundraising and awareness events representing the charity and speaking confidently about our work

● Collaborate with the programmes team to plan partner Sunshine Coach presentations, Great Days Out, and visits to partner schools

● Participate in staff meetings, fundraising team meetings and contribute to the success of Variety’s fundraising strategy

MAIN BENEFITS, TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Salary: £35,000-£38,000 per annum

Location: Remote working (must be in the Northeast area) (with 2-4 days per month working from a corporate partner office in Newcastle)

Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday - Friday

25 days holiday (we also normally give between Christmas and New Year off, but this is not contractual). In addition, after one year's continuous service, there will be an extra 2 days annual holiday added for every complete year of service, up to a maximum of five days' extra holiday.
