Job Description

Morgan Law is currently recruiting a Senior Business Communications Manager on behalf of a NHS organisation. This is a permanent role, paying £50,000 per annum. 

The candidate will be reporting to the Head of Brand, Marketing and Engagement and will be responsible for:

•  Contribution and delivery of the team’s strategic communications and engagement plan
•  Supporting the business areas by providing professional communications support
•  Asset management and finance
•  Developing a proactive PR and communications programme for each of the business areas
•  Use research, insight and evidence to plan communication activities and manage risks
•  Contribute to the development of marketing materials 
•  Support the delivery of the company’s three year Business plan
•  Use communication and influencing skills at all levels to drive forward change and improvement

To be successful in this role, you need to have the following skills and experience:

•  Specialist knowledge of branding, marketing and communications 
•  Excellent understanding of a range of communications best practice 
•  Extensive experience in communications, PR and media relations
•  Experience working in a business driven, results oriented communications team
•  Experience managing a team 
•  Issues and crisis management 
•  Exceptional written and verbal communications skills 
•  Excellent planning skills 
•  Strong negotiating skills
