A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Product Marketing and Innovation Manager (Digital) for a children related charity in order to support the development of the fundraising department strategic plans through innovation, product development and marketing. This will be a permanent role based in London. Senior Product Marketing and Innovation Manager will work with the Head of Product Marketing and Innovation to identify and lead on the development and marketing of new products for fundraising that have the potential to deliver significant net income to the charity.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Line management of 1-2 direct reports.
Horizon scan the fundraising sector (and beyond) to identify promising opportunities the charity could adapt and adopt, particularly (but not exclusively) with a digital focus.
Support the Head of Product Marketing and Innovation to implement the product marketing strategy across fundraising working with key teams to identify the optimum marketing mix and acquisition strategy for products.
Support the Head of Product Marketing and Innovation to develop a culture of insight-led innovation across fundraising and the wider Income and Innovation Directorate, as well as sharing best practice and learning through the wider organisation.
Develop business cases to develop the innovation pipeline, assessing product viability and profitability.
Through the process deliver an agreed level of fully-costed, researched and tested business cases for consideration each year.
Evaluate results and make recommendations for product development and roll out.
Engage and manage diverse stakeholder groups to deliver objectives and KPIs aligned with product development and innovation.
Project manage and support direct reports to project manage new fundraising products from initiation to roll out.
Manage and report on expenditure and income ensuring projects meet or exceed targets.
In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:
Experience of new product development and in taking new products to market
Experience of innovation management and implementation of innovation processes
Track record in transforming ideas, concepts and consumer insights into viable products and ventures
Experience of working in high pressure situations to deliver against tight deadlines
Experience of implementing new initiatives within a large and complex organisation
Influencing and negotiation skills demonstrated by an ability to work with and get the best out of stakeholders across large organisations
