The GLA has an exciting opportunity for a pro-active and enthusiastic individual who wants to put London at the forefront of efforts to re-settle Syrian refugees through a community sponsorship programme.
Joining a small and busy team, you will work with London stakeholders to develop a sustainable community sponsorship model for refugee resettlement, including generating new offers of support, securing commitments and developing relevant policies, processes and structure to implement the model.
The post holder will be someone who can take the initiative, who is excellent at relationship building and who has some knowledge and experience of refugee support, or community re-settlement.
This role is 1 year fixed term or secondment opportunity.
