Job DescriptionAn International Children's charity based in Central London is currently seeking a Senior Selections Officer who will be working within the Marketing Data Team, which is part of the Supporter Data Management (SDM) team. The SDM team is part of the Fundraising directorate.The successful candidate is responsible to the Marketing Data Team Manager for prioritising and supplying data for marketing campaigns and performing checks on the quality and accuracy of the data supplied. The postholder is also expected to give expert advice to support and guide marketing staff and managers as well as provide support and guidance to the 2 Marketing Data Selections Officers.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Co-ordinate the delivery of data files needed to support a sophisticated fundraising programme
Supply data according to agreed brief, ensuring that work stays on schedule.
Ability to identify and assist with issues as they arise to minimise impact
Provide expert advice on the structure, content and quality of Charity's marketing database to support and guide marketing staff and managers.
Develop and maintain any procedural documentation for routine tasks.
In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:
Considerable experience of working with a significant customer relational database (including SQL) in an expert capacity (eg as a developer, programmer, data or business process analyst).
Interpreting numerical information in a range of formats and to summarise, extract key features, identify anomalies and draw sound business conclusions
Ability to interpret complex information in a range of formats; summarise, extract key features, identify anomalies and draw sound business conclusions.
A developed SQL skillset, with the ability to undertake complex queries of datasets, plus a sound knowledge of data legislation and regulatory frameworks
