Sense has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join our successful Engagement team as an Individual Giving Officer. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week, based at our Head Office in King’s Cross, London.

About the role
In this key role, you will work closely with our Supporter Retention and Development Manager to deliver our donor development and retention programme. Working in line with annual income targets, you will utilise a variety of direct marketing channels to drive engagement. You will also be responsible for developing strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
The Individual Giving & Legacies team is a key driver of voluntary income for Sense, and continued investment is reflected in our 3-year Engagement strategy. We are now looking for an experienced and motivated fundraiser to join the ambitious team to help us drive even greater success going forward.
About you
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Charity and fundraising experience - ideally within an Individual Giving team.
- Proven experience of working on direct marketing campaigns across a variety of channels within a charity.
- A good understanding of the use and potential of CRM databases and experience of segmentation and data selection criteria.
- Demonstrable creative judgement and copy writing skills.
- A diligent and process-driven approach.
- Experience of working with stakeholders, agencies and printers.
- Strong time management skills, able to prioritise and an ability to work under pressure.
