Waking Nights Specialist Support Workers
Hours: 30 hours per week, part time

Salary: £8.50 per hour
About the role
Our service in Trowbridge is small but the people we support have huge personalities. They enjoy horse riding, shopping, visiting the local cinema, eating out and even attend wheelchair ice skating.
As a Specialist Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. You will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible – helping with personal care, supporting someone to rustle up some breakfast, do the weekly shop or visit a local café.
Being a Sense Support Worker can be the springboard to your future career - and to all sorts of opportunities and management roles, most of our management team began their journey's with Sense as a Support Worker.
Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people’s lives. We are looking for enthusiastic people who are willing to try anything!
Flexibility is needed as working times do vary; we will however provide you with a rota in advance so you can plan your life accordingly.
