2021 will bring enormous challenges for anyone affected by Brexit - none more so than European citizens who have made their home in the UK. The charity Settled was set up 18 months ago to help meet their needs and has already provided information, advice and support to thousands of Europeans in numerous languages. Our small team of regional Service Co-ordinators train and manage volunteers to reach diverse communities and deliver multi-lingual information and advice services in different parts of the UK. We are seeking an additional Service Co-ordinator to lead our work in North Wales and Powys, and the Midlands including but not limited to the Leicester, Birmingham and Northampton. This is a new post, with varied responsibilities. It is an exciting opportunity to make an impact in an important field.
Although a part-time position, it is likely that this will need to be worked flexibly with some periods - notably the first few months - worked on a full-time basis.
To apply, submit a CV and a covering letter which explains your suitability in detail, considering the Job Description and Person Specification.
Please note this post is advertised on a rolling recruitment basis. The deadline for applications is 15th January 2021, but we will interview suitable candidates as soon as they apply and expect to appoint before the deadline, so candidates are advised to apply early.
Settled believes that EU citizens who have made their home in the UK should be allowed to continue to do so lawfully, safely and successfully. Read more
