At Shakespeare Schools Foundation, we transform lives through the unique power of Shakespeare.

Our work instils curiosity and empathy; aspiration and self-esteem; literacy and teamwork - giving young people the confidence to see that all the world is their stage. Our projects use a rigorous and supportive process to train teachers and young people in an active and ambitious way of working with Shakespeare. 

Our longest-running project is the Shakespeare Schools Festival, where months of preparation culminate in exhilarating performance evenings on professional theatre stages - hundreds of nights across the country, every autumn in the world’s largest youth drama festival.  

The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for design and implementation of the school sales and marketing strategy for the Foundation, leading a motivated team to achieve ambitious targets across two key areas of activity: Festival and Workshops. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate who is looking to expand their leadership skills and take ownership of a complex sales project. You will be an excellent communicator and line manager, with highly developed independent working and a positive, proactive attitude.

Salary: £27-35k per annum, depending on experience

Contract: One year fixed-term, with possibility for extension

Probationary Period: 4 months

Hours: 35 hours per week, flexitime. Occasionally additional hours may be necessary

Leave: 25 days per year, plus bank holidays

Notice period: 8 weeks

Reports to: Director of Operations

Location: This role is based in our central London office (Westminster). Some travel within the UK will be required.
