The role

This is a new and exciting role, which comes during a period of development and growth for Share. We are looking for an enthusiastic Corporate and Community Fundraiser who can join our vibrant and committed team, to develop and deliver a fundraising strategy for Share. You’ll manage a range of events to raise funds and awareness of Share within the SW London community. You’ll help businesses and service providers get to know us, and you’ll develop relationships with local community groups, including places of worship, schools, rotary clubs, and more. As well as generating financial support from local businesses, you’ll inspire people to get involved with Share by organising events that are fun and that engage Share students, their families, our staff, volunteers and other supporters. Your initial challenge is to raise £25,000 in your first year to fund our work.

Who we are looking for

Our ideal candidate would have experience of community fundraising and building relationships with diverse stakeholders. You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to write well, manage a busy workload and have excellent organisational, administrative, and project management skills. You’ll be a confident and creative “people” person, who can develop and implement successful community fundraising strategies.
