About the Job:

Enjoyment and engagement are at the heart of a great visitor experience, and at Sheffield Museums Trust we aim to exceed visitor expectations and provide exceptional customer service in every interaction with our visitors. 

Working across five Museum sites Friday – Sunday, you will spend the majority of your day welcoming visitors in a warm and enthusiastic manner. Making specific recommendations, promotion of cross site visits, promote the Museums charitable status and actively making a face-to-face donation ask. 

The key objective of this role is to help raise vital income via a face-to-face donation ask as each donation helps care for the city’s remarkable collections, brings outstanding cultural experiences to Sheffield and ensures the museums are free and open for everyone to enjoy.

You will be working closely with the Visitor Assistant and Retail Team to ensure each visitor has a great visitor experience.

Committed to delivering the highest standards of customer service. You will hold the ability to share knowledge in a warm, interesting and enthusiastic manner. Have the confidence to make a donation ask. Build relationships and support the other front of house teams as needed.
