We're looking for a Product Manager to join our growing Digital team. You will support the multidisciplinary Scrum team working on Shelter’s digital campaigning and communications products and prioritise the needs of Shelter’s users and the goals of internal teams, making sure our digital campaigning is as effective as possible.

About the role
You will play a key role in helping Shelter campaign for a more just approach to housing. Our campaigns have led to real change in policy and this role will see you making sure our digital products meet the needs of our audiences, influence politicians and create the change we seek. You will be working with Shelter’s research, policy, campaigns, communications and parliamentary teams to explore how digital products can help us meet audience needs and organisational goals. It will be crucial to build strong relationships with stakeholders and work to understand our audiences better.

You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, writing user stories and looking for opportunities to create value and share insights.

About you
We’re looking for someone with specialist digital product experience, including product development, facilitating ideation, scoping, using metrics, working to organisational strategic objectives and using user research to validate ideas and scope. With a good working knowledge of modern website technologies, you will be able to see questions from multiple points of view – for example, understanding the different perspectives of website users, editors, developers and teams of stakeholders. You will have experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, enabling people with different skills to work together to a common aim. A great communicator who is comfortable working to bring about change, you will be able to influence stakeholders and navigate differing viewpoints while building close working relationships. You will be able to help colleagues from different disciplines understand product goals and work together to bring them about. Ideally you will have a certification in a relevant discipline, such as Scrum and knowledge of other methodologies would be helpful. It will be crucial to be open to constructive challenge and be comfortable working with evidence and making your case using research and data. You will approach problems creatively and work to maximise the impact of things we learn.
