We’re looking for a customer focused Receptionist to provide front desk support and be the first point of contact for everyone coming to us for advice and support.
A home is a fundamental human need, as essential as education or healthcare. Yet millions of people across Britain struggle on a daily basis with homelessness, bad housing conditions, soaring rents, discrimination and the threat of eviction. So, we are striving for change — with individuals, in communities, across society – and leading the way to a safe home. We need ambitious, best-in-class individuals who are passionate about our cause to join us at this exciting time. This is your chance to play a part in the fundamental change we are striving to achieve.
Our London Hub is a very busy place offering a range of services for people across London. These include advice on housing, debt and welfare issues, helping people access employment, accommodation and local services and a dedicated family service offering intensive support to families in need.
About the role
As Receptionist your role will include meeting and greeting visitors, helping them with their information needs, answering the telephone and dealing with queries, both internal and external. Booking interview rooms and appointments and supporting staff with case administration will also be key elements of this challenging, but rewarding role.
Enthusiastic and customer focused, you will enjoy making an excellent first impression and helping people find solutions to their problems. To succeed you’ll need relevant office administration experience and an ability to type and use MS office applications. Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing are also key.
Benefits include 30 days' annual leave, the possibility of flexible working, enhanced family friendly policies and significant opportunities for learning and development.
